Start with one month. Keep it if it earns its place.
The low-commitment way to use CutFocus on real projects. Pay month to month, cancel whenever you want, and keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
What an edit feels like with CutFocus.
An example session. The times are made up; every step is something the app does today.
Open your editor
CutFocus opens with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or Vegas Pro. The workspace is ready before the first cut.
Find the b-roll
One search across Pexels and Pixabay. Preview the shot, download it, keep cutting.
Hear the sound first
Search Freesound, preview a few whooshes and keep the one that lands.
Check the reference
Open the clip you saved earlier at the exact second you marked.
Leave a note
Write down what to fix in the next pass. It’s waiting when you come back.
Everything in CutFocus, included.
Every plan unlocks the whole app. The only difference is how you pay.
Stock footage search
Free video from Pexels and Pixabay, previewed before you download.
Sound effect search
The Freesound library with audio preview, so you hear it before it hits the timeline.
Timestamped references
Save a reference video at the exact second that matters and jump straight back to it.
Notes
Fixes for the next pass, kept in the same app as your references.
Templates
The text you paste into every project, such as a fair use disclaimer, ready to copy.
Opens with your editor
Starts when it detects Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or Vegas Pro. Never touches your project files.
Automatic updates
New versions download and install on their own.
Also included
Focus Mode for YouTube references and an App Blocker for the apps you want out of the way.
Is Monthly the right plan for you?
| Plan | Price | Works out to | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $9.99 / month | $119.88 a year | Trying it on real projects, no commitment |
| Yearly | $69.99 / year | about $5.83 a month | Editors who cut every week |
| Lifetime | $199 once | no renewals, cheaper than Monthly after about 20 months | Editors who plan to keep cutting for years |
Monthly is the right start if you want to see how CutFocus fits your projects before committing. Once it’s part of every edit, Yearly costs about the same as 7 months of Monthly.
Made by Lorken Interactive, a small independent software studio. CutFocus is built and updated in-house, and emails to contact@lorkeninteractive.com go straight to the person who builds the app.
If something doesn’t work the way you expect, you’ll be talking to someone who can fix it.
Questions about Monthly
How do I cancel?
Use the manage membership link in your Gumroad receipt. You keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
Can I move to Yearly or Lifetime later?
Yes. Start the plan you want, then cancel Monthly in Gumroad so it doesn’t renew.
How do I activate it?
After checkout, your license key is in your Gumroad receipt. Paste it into CutFocus to unlock the app.
Can I try CutFocus before I pay?
Yes. Download CutFocus and the 7-day free trial starts the first time you open it. No card needed.
Can I buy it for my editing team?
Yes. Each editor needs their own license. If you need licenses for several editors, email contact@lorkeninteractive.com.
Does CutFocus work on Mac?
Not yet. CutFocus is Windows-only for now. If you edit on a Mac, email contact@lorkeninteractive.com and you will hear first if a Mac version is made.
Why does Windows show a warning when I install CutFocus?
CutFocus is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may show a warning the first time. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Only download the installer from this website or the official CutFocus GitHub releases.
