CutFocus is a separate app, not a plugin, so it works alongside any editor. It can open automatically when it detects Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or Vegas Pro. It never opens or changes your project files. Using a different editor? Email contact@lorkeninteractive.com and we’ll look at adding it.
Where do the stock footage and sound effects come from?
Stock footage comes from Pexels and Pixabay, and sound effects come from Freesound. Each file has its own license. Some Freesound sounds need a credit, so check the terms before you publish.
Can I buy CutFocus for my editing team?
Yes. Each editor needs their own license. If you need licenses for several editors, email contact@lorkeninteractive.com.
Why does Windows show a warning when I install CutFocus?
CutFocus is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may show a warning the first time. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Only download the installer from this website or the official CutFocus GitHub releases.
Does CutFocus work on Mac?
Not yet. CutFocus is Windows-only for now. If you edit on a Mac, email contact@lorkeninteractive.com and you will hear first if a Mac version is made.
How much does CutFocus cost?
